Salamander Commission
A champion Salamander, returned from service in the Deathwatch.
Wielding a combi bolter carbine with a melta ‘master-key’ and a mysterious blade with an unfathomably sharp edge, suited for sweeping strikes, dispatching multiple enemies at once. The master crafted hilt, pommel and crossguard accomodates one or two handed operation. An up-armored collar, to account for close range combat, modifying the venerable Tacticus armor to resemble the Deathwatch chestplate. More than once a lethal projectile has struck the armored collar instead of the vulnerable helmet. An array of helmet mounted lenses and range finders help the Salamander champion direct close support fire and artillery strikes, closing in on the shell shocked survivors to dispatch with bolter and blade.
