Venators

There is no recognised record of the Venators’ founding. No Founding has ever claimed them. No Primarch is officially named as their genetic forebear, and surviving Administratum records concerning their earliest campaigns are contradictory at best. Even their home world is absent from many Imperial archives. This is not accidental. The Venators were never intended to exist. Centuries ago, a secretive enclave within the Adeptus Mechanicus identified what it considered a dangerous imbalance within the military structure of the Imperium.
