The Veteran
Captain Corven Vahl — First Company, 071
Venator Veterancy
Among the Venators, veterancy is not awarded through time served — it is survived. Those who endure repeated high-casualty deployments and return from missions where others do not earn the right to bear the veteran skull.
The skull does not represent death dealt. It represents death survived.

Veteran helm design – Veterans of the Venators etch a skull directly into the face of their helm, a mark earned only through survival. Crude and permanent, it signifies a warrior who has repeatedly faced death and returned — a reminder that death has tried, and failed, to claim him.
