Asterion Moloc was deployed during the Badab War, a conflict where several Space Marine Chapters rebelled against the Imperium. The Lamenters, though ultimately loyal, sided with the secessionists under the Astral Claws. For this, they were declared traitors. Asterion and his Minotaurs were ordered to crush them—no mercy, no negotiation. He wasn’t there to question their loyalty—just to punish it.
