VISSARION ACHITZIS

HARROWMASTER OF THE GAMMA HARROW

Vissarion was a Harrowmaster of the Alpha Legion during the time of the Great Crusade and the Horus Heresy. Achitzis’ role in the Legion is debated, but what is generally inferred by Remembrancers was that he served the role of searching for technology throughout the galaxy that could be hidden and later utilized exclusively by the Alpha Legion. To this end, his Gamma Harrow was extensively equipped with a wide array of rare and esoteric weaponry only they understood. During the Horus Heresy, Vissarion notably fought alongside the Loyalists against the Traitors during the conflict before he and most of his Harrow disappeared into deep space eventually becoming rumour and legend. Although difficult to distinguish among Lernaeans of his Harrow, Vissarion was most easily recognized by his relic lightning claws, The Hydra’s Talons, which emitted an eerie purplish glow.
