Known as the Iron Mother amongst her kindred, Ba’ka Yaga is a techno-shaman responsible for the kindred’s monstrosities, both organic and mechanical. Like her clutch-mate, the Red King, Ba’ka Yaga is a massive specimen of a kroot. Made even larger through her pathological augmentation and forced evolution, just how much kroot flesh is left under her heavy robes is unknown. Ever at Ba’ka Yaga’s side is a homunculus stitched together from a favored knarloc and a disfavored kroot, merged by her dark whim into a bodyguard and servant. She is often attended by her Ironwarped acolytes-kroot consumed by the very madness that dances about her mind. They are utterly committed to Ba’ka Yaga, yet she loathes their twisted forms, shaped by their own talons and not her own. As the Ironbeaks make their way towards Pech, many kindreds wonder whether the Ironbeaks might defeat one evil only to let loose another on their world.
