VOSS KRELL
MESSIAH OF THE SWARM SYMPHONY OF SILENCE
Voss Krell is the Messiah of the Swarm, prophet of the Symphony of Silence. In his beginnings, he was an Apothecary Biologis Astartes of a chapter whose name has been erased from the imperial records. Of that past, only experiments and dissections remain. For years studied xenos, mutations and diseases, seeking to cure his brothers. At some point he stopped searching for a cure and began to wonder whether humanity itself was not, in truth, the disease. His encounter with the Swarm transformed that obsession into faith. There he found a truth that no imperial Apothecary would have accepted: life does not exist to preserve itself, but to evolve. From the Crucible Nox, Krell gathers test subjects for his genetic experiments, freeing them of free will and adding their voices to the synapse. To his followers he is father and savior. To the Imperium, he is the heretical trinity: Xenos, mutant and heretic.
