Named ‘Moonsorrow’ by his brothers for the wine stain birthmark on his face that resembles a bleeding moon, Varamir has served as his Warhost’s Champion for nigh three decades reaping a bloody toll in the name of the Emperor across a hundred worlds.
Born in the black sand wastes of Ustros, a realm long considered to be cursed by the people of Skouras, there are those who view Varamir’s mark as an ill omen and so he is kept at an arm’s length by many of his more superstitious brethren. Nevertheless, his skill on the battlefield is only matched by a handful of the Chapter’s elite.
