Drezek was intimately aware of just how cruelly his brothers would mock him now. Truly, they would be utterly merciless in their incessant bullying and derision of the perceived weakness he had acqui- red in his service to the Deathwatch. As expected of the Astartes of the Marines Malevolent, this weakness was nothing more than the barest degree of duty towards his cousins in the Watch. Originally, Drezek had entirely met the pitiful standards of his infamous Chapter. That was until he watched all of Kill Team Cinis perish before his eyes. They were warriors he had come to see as brothers, above those of his malicious home Chapter, only to watch them torn apart by the hordes of a Tyranid Splinter Fleet. All of it so that he alone could deliver the nu- clear payload to the synaptic heart of the foul swarm. How Drezek survived such a thing is unknown to all, including himself. Yet what he does know is that his duty to the Watch shall never cease, and the brotherhood he found will be avenged.
