Porphyrius felt the gaze of his army behind him as the Space Wolves before him closed ranks in a semicircle, and the battle seemed to stop. The Wolf Lord snarled as he strode forward, his right hand swinging a power sword at the throat. The Chaos Lord deflected the blow making it smash on his daemon shield, sundering the blade. Meanwhile, on the left, a thunder hammer pointed to his chest. The Champion’s axe shattered while blocking it.

With a telepathic command, Co’Vidax’s jaws opened and a combi-melta emerged firing on his opponent. A heated beam fused flesh and ceramite, amputating an arm with a clean cut. The Wolf Lord howled in disbelief. Porphyrius picked up his enemy’s fallen hammer and landed a charged blow hitting the marine’s face, a mist of bone and brain flying everywhere as the corpse collapsed.
