Haram Esterax is the current tyrant of the renegade house Hopecrusher. They were once the proud lineage of the Hopebringers, knights whose role was to liberate humans from the tyrants xenos and renegades during the Great Crusade. This family always had an oath to the XXVth great company of the Iron Warriors. But when the legion turned against the Imperium the house broke its oath. Then while the 25th Great Company was laying siege to a Loyalist fortress the Hopebringers attacked them in an attempt to save the Loyalists. Un- fortunately they were crushed by the strength of the traitors and admired the power they had acquired. They swore again their loyalty to the XXVth and settled with them on Acheron within the Iron Triumvirate.
