On Istvaan V the Nostraman-born earned the notorious title “the Flenser” among his raptor brethren from the violent acts of skinning surviving Loyalists caught by Murder Squads scouring the wastes. Assuming command of the 43rd after the death of Cel Herec at the hands of the Atramentar, his company was one of the first to be reinforced with the unvetted, psycho-indoctrinated recruits from the prison sprawls of Nostramo. Harnessing the abhorrent reputation of the 43rd, Kallas favours shock assaults, in order to rain terror and break the composure of his foes before an effective resistance can be formed.
