Ever has the Raven Guard Third Company, the Ghoststalkers, attracted those sons of Corax who believe that victory is not won solely through stealth or vigilance, but by the art of the violent and unforeseen ambush that Kallidax mastered early. After an incident resulting in his secondment to the Deathwatch for a standard Terran century, Kallidax returned to the Raven Guard in the beginning of the Indomitus Crusade and was appointed to the hallowed rank of Shadow Captain. At the scattering of the companies by Kayvaan Shrike, he was given a single mission: Take the Third, find Corvus Corax.
