The Bonewrought is the flagship of the Iron Scourge. It was once a battle-barge that belonged to a now dead and nearly forgotten chapter of Adeptus Astartes and was claimed by the nascent warband early in M34, after the battle that saw the nameless chapter all but eliminated by a combined force of Night Lords and Iron Warriors, according to Imperial record keepers.
After spending years beyond counting inside the Eye of Terror docked in orbit above Hellforges of the insidious Dark Mechanicum, it has been reshaped with corrupted macro-cannons and spiteful lance batteries, overseen by The Fabricator of Ordained Deconstruction, Lord Kryteq.
Malignant intelligences now seethe invisibly inside the guns of the ship, shackled to the weapon grids, their power stolen from them and their essences bound to the oil-slick munitions of the Iron Warriors.
