Bede Kataie of the Shoi-Sji, also known as San’nan or ‘the third son, is one of the eagle-eyed ‘wayfinders’ of his Great Clan. Formerly a warrior of the Jeder Clan of the Cih Steppes, he was forever known for his natural hunting and tracking instincts. Further enhanced by his superhuman transformation, Bede is notable amongst his other wayfinding brothers for his heightened and sharpened skill, tempered by decades of experience. He is attributed the Saishonoyari of the Battle of Scimitars.
