SEVATAR
Hi everyone! Today is our “non-Primarch Thursday”, and I’m sharing this commission I made for @welsfordranger. I’ll be honest: I didn’t know much about Sevatar before working on this piece, and discovering the character through this commission was incredible. He’s a ruthless and cold character who, even within a Legion of criminals like the Night Lords, doesn’t resort to violence simply for the sake of it — he sees it as a means to an end. Not to mention the fact that he was somehow able to keep Konrad Curze under control during some of his darkest moments. In the future, I’d love to make an illustration of his duel with Sigismund — maybe even the headbutt moment hahaha.
I tried to portray him as calm and almost amused, hiding a violence within him that only comes out when necessary. And of course, I had to include the raven because of the symbolism connected to the character.
What do you think?
See you next Thursday with LEMAN RUSS!
